Hi Barracuda Families,

We wanted to send a quick reminder about our Welcome Back Potluck this Thursday evening.

We really hope everyone can join us! The potluck is one of our favorite team traditions and a great way to kick off the season. It gives new families a chance to meet other swim parents, helps swimmers reconnect with teammates, and builds the sense of community that makes the Barracudas so special.

Even if you can't stay for the entire event, please consider stopping by. We'd love to see as many families there as possible.

New Parent Meeting
6:00–6:30 PM (grass area near the playground)

If you are new to the team, we encourage you to attend. Coach Heidi, Coach Avery, Michelle, and Lauren will review:

• Practice routines
• Meet procedures
• Volunteer expectations
• SwimTopia basics
• Season schedules and important dates
• Questions and answers

Welcome Back Potluck
6:30–8:00 PM

Families of our Mini Barracudas are also welcome and encouraged to attend.

The Swim Team Committee will provide desserts, water, paper products, and utensils.

Please:

• RSVP online under Team Events
• Sign up to bring a dish using the Potluck Signup link
• Bring a serving utensil for your dish
• Bring enough food to serve approximately 10–12 people

What to Bring (by Last Name)

• A–C: Bread or rolls
• D–N: Pasta dishes (lasagna, mac & cheese, spaghetti, etc.)
• O–Z: Salads (green salad, fruit salad, pasta salad, etc.)

Time Trials Declarations Are Now Open

Time Trials is now open in SwimTopia, and we are asking families to log in and declare their swimmer's attendance and select events as soon as possible.

For 8 & Under swimmers:
Please select only the strokes your swimmer is legal in. If you are unsure which events to choose, please speak with Coach Heidi, Coach Avery, or Lauren before or after practice.

For all other swimmers:
Please select all four strokes. The purpose of Time Trials is to establish seed times for our first A Meet of the season, so it is important that we get times in all events whenever possible.

Important Change This Year
Declarations for Time Trials will close on Thursday, June 11. After that date, swimmers cannot be added to the meet, and we will not be entering swimmers on deck.

Please make sure to:

1. Declare your swimmer's availability.
2. Select their events.
3. Complete both steps before June 11.
