Barracuda News June 28 - July 4

Hi Barracuda Parents,

What a week for the Barracudas! Between the B Meet, Ft. Hunt Sportsmen Relays, and our second A Meet of the season, it was a busy and exciting stretch of swimming. We loved seeing everyone show up in their superhero gear on Saturday—the costumes, cheering, and team spirit were truly next level. Most importantly, the Barracudas came away victorious with a 213–197 win!

A huge thank you to all of our swimmers, volunteers, coaches, and families who brought the energy all week long. Your enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and support continue to make this team so special.

Volunteer Reminders & Opportunities

We're almost halfway through the season, and we want to thank all of the incredible parent volunteers who have stepped up so far. Many of you have already reached your volunteer point requirement.

If you haven't volunteered yet—or aren't sure where you can help—please reach out. We still need support in several behind-the-scenes roles, especially as we begin planning for Team Breakfast and the End-of-Season Banquet.

We also encourage parents to consider on-deck roles. Some of our regular timers would love the opportunity to watch a meet as spectators. Table worker and concessions are both great options, especially for parents with younger swimmers.

Team Shirts

Team t-shirts will be distributed again on Friday. If your swimmer will not be at practice, please contact me to arrange pickup.

Swimmingly,

Lauren & Michelle
